Today we review a product from one of the emerging leaders in this new field of instapot’s. This is our Instant Pot IP-LUX60 review, an entry level instapot from this company.
In this Instant Pot Lux60 review we intent to go over all the major features and factors that you should consider when buying such a instapot.
The Instant Pot Lux60 offers a smart pressure cooker that is electric. It has been designed for those individuals that are looking to lead a healthier lifestyle.
The cooking process takes two to six times less than a regular pressure cooker, and the Instant Pot uses 70% less energy than the average pressure cooker of this nature. Above everything else it produces healthy food in a convenient way. It is safe and extremely dependable.
The whole idea of the instapot, is to give a family a quick and convenient way of rustling up a meal. A lot of people are busy these days, so having the ability to make quick (but potentially healthy and tasty) meals is a major selling feature.
In terms of size, the Instant Pot Lux60 sits in the middle of the Instant Pot Lux range, at 6 quarts. They also have a 3 quart and 8 quart version of this Instant Pot Lux.

The Instant Pot IP-LUX60 is everything that you could ask for in a pressure cooker. It has six programmable features that allow you to use it as a rice cooker, slow cooker, for sauté and browning, a pressure cooker, as a steamer or simply as a warmer for food that you have prepared in another way.
This is why this instapot is touted as a 6 in 1 instant pot. These 6 cooking features are designed to make the Instant Pot Lux 60 a convenient and quick way to cover most of your cooking needs.
There are ten built in programs allowing you to create your favourite dishes with just a push of a button. There are also three adjustable modes. There are three temperatures for browning and sautéing and three temperatures for slow cooking available.
I love how the fact that you can saute in this Instapot, meaning that there is often no need to use other pots and pans in your cooking.
I also really like the keypad on the front of this instant pot pressure cooker. All of the functions are clearly labeled, and I don’t feel they have fallen into the trap of some other companies who have made their keypads too complex and confusing.

Customer Reviews and Scores

At the time of this posting there were just over 4,300 reviews of the Instant Pot Lux60. The average rating was 4.5 out of 5 stars. This is an excellent rating, especially as it is based on such a wide user base.
Most people who purchased this electric pressure cooker stated that it was very easy to use and to clean up. Customers were also happy with the fact that it can be pre-programmed, has a 24 hour delay, and almost anything can be made using it.
I see a lot of people who love using this instapot as a solution for quick and easy family meals, which is great.
While most people are really happy with the pressure cooker, there were some customers that were dissatisfied as well. There were a few complaints about the seal breaking after only using the cooker a few times. Another customer had issues with the slow cooker overcooking some of the food that she was trying to prepare.
Unfortunately, this is quite normal for electric pressure cookers or instapots! Whenever you add so much technology to a product, you are opening yourself up to the possibility of failure! This is why some people still prefer to stick to more traditional stove top pressure cookers.
Overall, the reviews of this particular electric pressure cooker are very good and the majority of consumers are happy with their purchase.

In addition, the instant Pot IP-LUX60 is very affordable with a price of around $79. For this low price it will be difficult to find another pressure cooker that provides you with all that this one does.
This particular instant pot allows you to not only use it as a pressure cooker, but also as several other kitchen devices. This makes it a very convenient all in one item that will take up less space in your kitchen.
A lot of people will take the convenience of this product over the longevity of a more traditional stove top pressure cooker.
